What women say are the differences between Zing Wellbeing and The Healthy Mummy

Rhian Allen is the founder of both The Healthy Mummy and Zing Wellbeing

Rhian sold The Healthy Mummy in 2022 and is not associated with it in any way any more.

You can also read about Rhian's journey here

And in 2024 Rhian launched Zing Wellbeing which is a health and wellbeing platform, program and community dedicated to women's health.

And one of the most common questions women ask is, what is the difference between The Healthy Mummy and Zing Wellbeing.

And if you want to check out the Zing Wellbeing program go here

We have previously outlined the differences here but recently a member of the community asked that question and other members responded - you can read the post here which is in the community and we have also popped the comments on the post below too so you can read here as well.

When I saw Rhian had started Zing Wellbeing I knew I needed to look into it further. And I’ve found the best program for women, made by women. It’s a completely holistic program that has the most inspiring people in it. It’s literally about building women up and not about being better than anyone else. It celebrates us! And so much has changed health wise for me. I’ve got improved perimenopause symptoms, better gut health, I sleep better. It’s been a game changer.

I also was a member of HM. I switched over to Zing last year and l have found that it has a wonderful supportive vibe with women supporting women. The recipes are super dooper easy and so yummy! Loving the extra support with the coaches to help educate us further and the exercises/ products are fabulous! Honestly haven’t looked back and so pleased to make the switch!

Because my life no longer revolves around weight loss, and that is what HM primary focus is. Zing is what I need at this point in my health, and it encompasses more than just food and fitness.

I loved THM in the beginning but the last couple of yrs even though I was always in the background posted every now and then, but felt like I needed to complete or need to be excepted, and just felt I had lost a lot of idea on what health and wellbeing was about, it wasn’t what I needed anymore as I found it really wasn’t helping my overall gut health.

Also I found it really hard to get any of the products as they were getting phased out

Im a life time member of HM, and i find zing has wholistic approach,& covers many health topics that every day women go through on a daily basis. Recipes are super delicious & easy to follow, & why else wouldnt you follow Rhian, she's an amazing human that knows what shes talking about!

I held on to HM for a long time as ai felt the way,to better my health was losing weight.

I was part of the Zing group since launching and when I realised that there was something missing in my health journey I started paying more attention to the whole Zing package.

Overall health

Mental health

Excersise

And this supportive group of real women

I love that there are less limitations and an attitude of keeping it real here.

Allison Prince

I have life HM membership but only occasionally use it for some of the recipes. I too went off the HM posts and all of the reapraring posts and lack of support after Rhian left.

Then saw Zing had started 2 months prior and immediately signed up. Love the women, the content, the support, the programs, the focus on mental wellbeing, sleep, lifestyles and the support and honesty. I Love it and it has improved my confidence, mental health, sleep and awarness of moving my body (I love the gym now, for my mental health and movement) and becoming more aware of food choices. I also loved and was motivated by a lot of the women form HM that had also made the move

I could say so much but I’m going to say that ZING has given me and created the positive supportive and encouraging environment that I need in my life to make the changes to improve my health overall.

It’s been missing from hm for a long time yet I tried to stay loyal.

It took me a while as I was concerned it was the same as HM but it’s not

The great aspects that I remember from hm when I started and was looking for is even more so in zing

And more importantly Rhian Allen Zing Wellbeing Founder is the face of zing…. There is no one to actually relate to on hm

Rosanna Bennett

Zing every day of the week! I have a lifetime membership with THM and do occasionally use their recipes however not often. I didn’t like their business approach after Rhian left.

With Zing it’s got everything THM did and more!!! Absolutely love the whole body approach, love the menopause focus, mindfulness, gut health, sleep etc! One of my favourite things about the Zing is how supportive the community is, absolutely incredible! Highly recommend Zing, if you sign up I know you won’t regret it 😍🥰

A focus on holistic health. As someone who has suffered PND and anxiety i know first hand how big of an effect the food we eat impacts our mental health and energy. Did not like the ignoring of this with the healthy mummy (particularly since Rhian left there was a big shift) and just harping on about calories all the time…

Natasha Mutze

I was also a HM member for a very long time and had huge success losing 17kgs. But fell off the wagon and put all of my weight back on plus some. When I decided to jump back into it I went back to the HM but I just felt I wasn't getting what I use to get which was the support from the admin and the other ladies. I also didn't feel comfortable posting anymore.

So I sat on the fence for months and months and watched other ladies talk about Zing and watched Rhian talk about Zing. I loved the support I was seeing, I loved seeing the recipes and most of all I loved how Zing isn't all about weight loss.

I love how Zing focuses on your mental well being which is hugely important. It's also great for all different people know matter what stage of life we are in.

Zing wins for me because Rhian is all for her supporters, she listens to her customers, she empowers her customers and yet to meet her but she just seems to be a kind hearted genuine person.

Tanya Page

I sat on the fence watching for a while before joining Zing, I am a lifetime member of THM

But I found this to be more informative on all women’s needs, and the gut health shot is amazing 🩷

After using HM for many years and even winning WL Mum of the year one year.. falling off the wagon due to pregnancy loss etc.

I tried to go back a few times and I never ever felt safe in the new community without Rhian. It felt tox!c to me personally and I can tell you that I've been battling weight loss for almost two decades.

Hm was special to me back then I finally stuck to something for many years, my bar was high and it was so different.. I was so worried I wouldn't find anything like that.

I feel so safe here in Zing, so supported.. especially because counting calories and weighing in isn't where I'm at ATM I don't have to worry about being an outcast because of that.

Also us old school HM folk are here and we are awesome

Paula Clarke

Tbh, I felt there was a lot of disrespect for the old skool HM crew like myself.

It began to feel competitive and bitchy. And the constant talk about weight loss drugs made me run for the hills. I needed something non competitive, wellbeing based and supportive. I'd been following Rhian for many years with HM, she made things feel more personable, health centred and realistic. I haven't posted much here, on Zing, as I was kicked to the kerb by a few keyboard warriors on HM you don't see that here. And I feel HM are more focussed the younger crowd these days. Even in my forties, I'm still a mother, and will be forever more. My son was heavily involved a few years back when I was a HM MM. I wouldn't subject him to the bullting that goes on over there now. No way. I feel more comfortable here. There are all walks of Mums here, it doesn't feel competitive at all (because it actually shouldn't be), and it feels like home.

I hope to share my journey again when I feel confident enough too. But for now, I'm happy in the wings, chipping away at my best self with all the lovely supportive Zing Squad members and Rhian at the helm. Love that it's all about wellbeing here.

Because HM went downhill after Rhian left. I also saw many women who were strong HM supporters move over to Zing. I needed something fresh and new because even though weight loss is a goal (7.2kg so far), my main focus is health and wellbeing, and changing my mindset when it comes to food

Brooke Mann

Hello past HM member and I left when rhian did as HM has no face or any one that you can trust or relate to that owns the company

Zing focuses on all areas of health rather then weightloss but you can still lose weight on zing but all areas of health are catered for and it's best holistic approach we learn how to create healthy habits and work on mental, physical and nutritional sides and food for medicine we actually learn on health and its amazing so interesting I have had best health transformation and what I have succeeded in 8 months with zing i didn't get this far with HM

Hm I loved dont get me wrong but focusing on all areas of health has really being amazing ♡ I dont look back Rhian is amazing and Tracy does best job being admin i love being here x

Nancy Linda Kanno Benjamin

I’m glad I switched from HM to Zing, Zing offering support, encouragement etc in all aspects of women’s health with no judgement etc & my weight loss, health & well being all improving in ways I could not achieve through HM, a HUGE thank you to Rhian for creating Zing 😘

Robyn Hanrahan

I was THM since 2017, lifetime member. Swapped because I didn't like the changes I saw in the platform and how some members were treated in the past 2 years.

I'm new to Zing, like 3 weeks new! But loving everything I'm learning so far, and I love seeing familiar faces and how their journeys have evolved .

Bernie Fanning

Hey I changed due to Zing Wellbeing focusing on your overall wellbeing including your physical and mental health. I love the community of supportive women and of course Rhian Allen Zing Wellbeing Founder who is the reason I joined THM then when she left it was never the same. Rhian listens to feedback and implements new content due to this. Such as meditations 🧘♀️❤️

Katie Scher

I sat on the fence for ages, i applied myself so much to HM, I was a motivating Mum so many times, and I always gave it my all, it got to a point where it felt so competitive, ladies didn't seem to be supportive and encouraging, rather more interested in bickering, and complaining and picking each other apart it was really sad to see it unfold!

I was also noticing lots of posts were being deleted, I felt I couldn't be my authentic self because it didn't 'Fit the mold' the focus on 'just losing weight' was insane

To be healthy you need to also have a healthy mind, and that was something I certainly wasn't getting over there!

Zing is wonderful Rhian Allen Zing Wellbeing Founder really cares, and you can see that radiate through the groups, it makes a HUGE difference! 🥰

Tara Elso

Loved hm and was there for a long time I list 20 kgs was amazing but the main thing for me was some of the negative comments I was receiving which is the worst takes a toll we need to lift each other up not out each other down life is hard enough already dealing with work kids let alone putting me first . Since swapping to zing I have had so many ladies saying yay love seeing you here that’s what keeps me going so I need that positivity on my life . Joined zing a few weeks ago and am feeling better in myself already .

Sally Penny

I was a member of HM when it started and didn't follow it as I wasnt a fan of calorie counting. Zing has changed my life in so many ways and I love that it focuses on the whole body not just weight loss. There are so many recipes with zing and they are all delicious and easy to make. They have great challenges fitness and wellness.

I can't say enough about how much I love Zing Wellbeing.

The shakes are wonderful, not grainy or tasteless and best but is the flavor ones are dairy free .

Deb Jo

I'm a member of both, I lost over 30 kg with THM but when life got really hard I gained 10 kg. Then I found Zing Wellbeing and I finally really worked on my mindset with all of the help of the wonderful experts. Zing Wellbeing is about all aspects of health, mind, body and soul and that's the difference between the two. Also Zing continues to grow and get better all the time, the content is HUGE.

Rhian really listens and cares what members want and she does everything she can to make it happen.

Rae Willingham

I left because Rhian did 😂

And I also have a differing view on weight loss drugs than HM do now they have new owners.

I also saw how they treated some of the staff and was not for it.

Food wise, they’re much for a muchness in my opinion. Want lasagna? Both have it. Want a pizza? Both have it.

But the nutritional breakdown with Zing excites me.

The Zing protein powder of Zing’s is fab for its very low ingredients list, which appeals to me.

The focus on mental health and all of the coaches here is super impressive too.

Both have fab communities (although a comment above may suggest that’s changes too), great food and some key differences.

Zing wellbeing won out for me though x
