Cooling Smoothie to Reduce Hot Flushes

And today we are sharing a smoothie to help to reduce hot flushes - plus it tastes great and is high in protein to support your hair, skin and nails too - which is essential at this time of your life.
Cooling Perimenopause and Menopause Smoothie
Cucumber is cooling to the core and a great addition to the diet during this phase of life. It has a high-water content and may assist with dampening heat within the body as well as support hydration and liver heath.
Hemp is full of chlorophyll, all 8 essential amino acids, essential fatty acids-omega 3 and gamma- linolenic acid.
High in iron, magnesium and zinc, it is a great source of plant protein. It is easy to digest and is alkaline to help balance hormones, as well as provides full amino acid profile, is high in minerals, and easy to absorb.
Adding linseed add phyto-estrogens and a great source of fibre as well.
