Oat bar snacks

Serve: 16 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tsp honey 
  • ¼ cup almonds, chopped 
  • 120g dark chocolate, melted 

Optional: Serve of choc protein powder

Method: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C. 
  2. In a mixing bowl, use a fork to mash bananas. 
  3. Add honey, protein powder and oats. Mix to combine. 
  4. Transfer to a tray lined with parchment paper. Top with another parchment paper and press to a thin rectangle/ square. 
  5. Divide into desired sized bars. 
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool completely.
  8. Drizzle chocolate and sprinkle chopped nuts. Chill to set and enjoy!
