Healthy Almond Florentine

Serve: 4

Ingredients: 

  • 1 medium banana 
  • 140g flaked almonds
  • 2 egg whites
  • 120g dark chocolate 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract, optional 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mash banana, then add almonds, vanilla and egg whites. Mix until well-combined.
  3. Spread thinly on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for about 15–20 min until golden.
  5. Let it cool down completely and drizzle melted chocolate on florentine.
  6. Put in the fridge for about 30 min until set.
  7. Break or cut to serve!
