How Zing Wellbeing helped Sonya improve her diabetes diagnosis

That is why we were so super proud and excited to hear how Zing Wellbeing health program has helped Sonya improve her diabetes and health since receiving her Diabetes diagnosis.
Sonya's diabetes story
I have struggled with my weight, fitness and health for a long time now due to a lot of losses in my life and binge eating to deal with the stress.
My heaviest was 160 kilos in January 2023 since then I have gone up and down not getting under 144 kilos.
I struggle with everyday activities, I have not exercised in a long time, I struggle with it due to arthritis in my lower back.
Sonya's diabetes diagnosis
On the 22nd of June 2024 I went to the Doctors and I weighed 155.8 kilos and she diagnosed me with early diabetes which was my worst fear.
I had a feeling I had it but when it was confirmed I was devastated, she put me on tablets and weekly injections for it and told me I can reverse it with a healthier lifestyle.
Then 2 weeks later I found Zing Wellbeing and thought this has come at the right time, it must be the one that's going to help me get my health back.
I watched all the coaching videos, joined in the LIVE coaching sessions learning a lot from all the coaches and it started working.
Everything just started to click and I was determined to make the changes.
Favourite recipes
I follow the Zing Wellbeing meal plans and love trying different recipes all the time.
My favourite being the smoothies, home-made Granola mixed with Greek Yogurt and berries, and of course the Zing gut health smoothie shot I have every morning.
I'm still yet to start the exercises but I am trying to change one habit at a time like meal prep when I know I will be busy and trying to get up every morning by 8am to make the most of my day.
Sonya's amazing results
My results so far - I have more energy and I have also lost 13 kilos in 12 weeks now being 142.5 kilo - just making good food choices and following all the advice of the amazing team of coaches and experts.
Sonya's Day on a plate
Breakfast - My day always starts with a Zing gut health smoothie, greens powder and a coffee at around 9am.
Then I have a bloat smoothie or berry smoothie for breakfast or if the morning has got on too quick I will mix the anti bloat and the Zing Smoothie together.
I also love the overnight oats and chia puddings.
Lunch is either a smoothie or mainly a home made Granola from the Gut health meal plan made into a Greek yogurt and berry parfait. I love it or sometimes a wrap.
Dinner and snacks - I snack on fruit and almond butter and dinner is just what the family eats on the day with a Zing Wellbeing healthy twist .
I have finally printed the meal plans up and put them in a folder, I will get hubby and the girls to pick dinner out of it for the next day as the family is starting to join in on my Zing Wellbeing journey.
I'm so grateful that Rhian has created this health and wellness program for us and is adding to it every day.
