Anissa has lost a dress size in just 4 weeks on the Zing Wellbeing Challenge
Anissa shares, I’ve been part of this amazing Zing Wellbeing community for many months now and have loved every moment of it.
When I came across Rhian, and followed along to see what she was creating in this space, I knew I needed to be a part of it all. I initially signed up as I was attracted to the well being component, rather than the “weight loss”.
Having been through a really testing Menopause journey over the past few years and gaining significant weight, I wanted to journey with like minded people who encouraged and supported one another, through all stages of life.
I have learnt more about Menopause as a post Menopausal woman, than when I was going through it, here at Zing Wellbeing.
The support, knowledge, wealth and wisdom at Zing, is second to none. I have grown tremendously and learn something new everyday.
I am loving GRIT at the moment, as I’m challenging myself to move more, try new things and take myself out of my comfort zone daily. There is growth in the discomfort.
"I have incorporated 6 days per week of exercise including Boxing classes, circuit, walking and weights. This has been from nothing much but an occasional walk, so I’ve enjoyed getting back to enjoying movement.'
Eating wise, I cut all processed foods, sugars, drinks etc out a month ago and was great for 3 weeks but have had a few things here and there this week but nothing major that will cause me to go backwards.'
I don’t want to restrict myself as it plays a mind game with me and I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole.

I started Boxing classes last month. I have been really enjoying them. This is week 3 now. I can feel how much more energy I have but the biggest gain has been how my body is getting into the rhythm of movement.
This year has been very sedentary compared to normal, with job changes, so this has been my biggest achievement of 2025.
Have you tried the Zing Wellbeing Protein powder yet? It’s absolutely delicious. I made myself a smoothie after my workout as sometimes I don’t feel like eating straight up.
Anissa's goal for the 6 week GRIT Christmas challenge
My goal was to add movement and commencing GRIT this week has been the perfect timing.
I’ve walked for 30 minutes in the morning before my 11 hour days. This morning hubby and I got up at 4:45am and went to the new gym close by and completed a circuit workout together.
I have lost 2.1 kilos the past week.
I have had no sugar, lollies, chocolate or fizzy drinks.
I’ve had no processed foods and I am feeling absolutely amazing.
GRIT strong!
I am committed to finishing 2024 and GRIT strong. My intention is to show up for myself and make my exercise daily a non-negotiable and mark it out in my diary.
It’s not something I have been doing, so this will make it have more meaning and purpose.
