4 Weeks To Christmas Health & Grit Challenge
Are you taking part in our Christmas Countdown health challenge? We have 4 weeks to go until Christmas and we are on a MISSION to get you and us in great health for Christmas!
At this time of year it is all a bit cray cray! Stress can increase. Workload can increase and you can feel like you are running out of time to get it all done - I get it!!
And often our health falls to the bottom of the list of priorities. Which isn't good as our health is the most important thing we have and it should be number one.
So we are running a Countdown to Christmas Health Challenge to help you be in your best health and be motivated to put your health at the TOP of the pile.
And one of our coaches, Rae, is going to be your lead motivator over this countdown along with me, Rhian, the founder of Zing Wellbeing,
Both Rae and I have publicly posted about our own health goals to reach by Christmas and we thought it would be GREAT if we could all band together to help each other, lift each other up and motivate each other along the way.
So what's involved in the Countdown Challenge?
Over the course of countdown we will join together as a team, and commit to our health and wellness goals with fierce love, and firm personal boundaries.
We will use simple yet effective tools to keep us on track to our Christmas wellness targets, and we'll have a whole load of fun doing it!
And the focus is on GRIT!!
So how do you get involved!?

And I highly recommend you becoming a Zing Wellbeing member as both Rae and I are using the recipes, meal plans and tools in Zing Wellbeing and we have now launched the meal plan customiser which makes life even easier!
We will be focusing on GRIT and helping you stay on track
We are asking you to:
- Set your health goals
- Follow the Zing Wellbeing meal plans
- Exercise daily
- Drink 2 litres of water a day
- Complete journal prompts
- Interact in our weekly accountability post
Setting your goals!
Goal setting is so important. So have a think about what you want to achieve and right it down.
Women are getting INCREDIBLE results on Zing Wellbeing including:
- Improving gut health
- Sleeping better
- Reducing blood pressure

- Improving menopause symtptoms
- Losing weight
- Losing tummy fat

What are Rae's goals?
Rae says, "Operation ‘whip this junk filled trunk’ is commencing!
I’m on a mission to lose 5kgs by sticking to my calorie and protein targets and committing to daily movement but will be doing the Zing Wellbeing way and not obsessing and will be focusing on healthy food and healthy mind and I’m going to apply grit, consistency, and determination to my food and exercises choices"

What are my goals
I don’t own a scales and I don’t obsess about weight. But I put these jeans on which I haven’t worn in a few months and oops they were a bit tight with a bit of overhang
I put this down to the combination of menopause and also working so many hours on launching and building Zing Wellbeing over the past 4 months that I have neglected moving as much as I usually do.
So over countdown to Christmas I am following the Zing Wellbeing program to a T and at the end of it will see if the jeans fit better and share my pic at the end and let you know how I went on my goals.
Here's my pics 3 weeks in and there is a difference which is great!
I also just had all my bloods done and my cholesterol was on a little bit the high side (which is another menopause side effect!) so I will have my bloods done again at the end of the month to see if I can bring that down from following the meals and share how that goes to.
The goals I am setting myself this month are:
Eating at least 90g of protein a day
Following the meal plans daily - I will do all the new meal plans which are anti inflammatory, high protein, hormone balancing and mental wellbeing
Exercising 3-4 times a week plus doing a daily walk
Getting at least 8 hours sleep a night
Switching off from my phone at 9pm
Focusing on managing stress in the lead up to the silly season
