My brain fog was constant. I was numb. I was so deep in that dark hole I almost admitted myself to a mental health ward.

I'd also quit smoking after 30+ years and was petrified of gaining more weight, as this was something I was already struggling with, I wondered if I could lose weight at the same time as quitting.
