Brooke lost a dress size in 4 weeks using the Zing Wellbeing fitness program

We are super proud of Brooke, she recently shared she has lost a dress size following the Zing Wellbeing 7 Day fitness program. 

Brooke has lost 7cm in 4 weeks from her belly, which is amazing, and also 4cm from her bust. That is 11cm GONE in just 4 weeks of a consistent fitness routine. 

It didn't happen overnight, but if you keep being consistent, the changes you make then become HABIT and that habit just naturally becomes routine. 
Brooke has lost a total of 15cm from her bust in 18 weeks and 18cm from her belly.


Brooke says, "Normally my measuments were all the same from bust to the belly area, and I'm happy to say in the last 4 weeks using the 7 day fitness challenge by Zing Wellbeing and following the meal plans and protein powders and wellness powders for first time my belly area is smaller then my bust & I have lost 7cm in 4 weeks from my belly which is amazing and 4cm from my bust that is 11cm GONE in just 4 weeks of consistent fitness routine."

In April I decided to do the Zing Wellbeing 7 day fitness challenge program.

I have never done dumbbell training in my entire life. I never really liked exercise to be honest, I was the most unfit person, and when I started Zing Wellbeing I have worked on my mind set, learnt to create great habits and have been supported throughout my entire journey over the last 5 months, and the support and knowledge we get in how to create goals has really helped me succeed in my journey so far.

On day 1 of the 7 day fitness challenge, I was only able to lift 1kg dumbbell weights per arm, I wasn't sure how this would go, but when I completed my first week, I really enjoyed it and realised this is something I could add to my exercise routine.

I have never had a proper exercise routine that worked my entire body like this, it took me time to establish a walking routine and that was literally my only exercise I was doing, with some video workouts from the Zing Wellbeing program twice a week, and to be honest it took me 12 weeks to develop those good exercise habits to make it a solid routine.

It didn't happen overnight, but if you keep being consistent, the changes you make then become HABIT and that habit just naturally becomes routine. 

With the Zing Wellbeing program, we are supported in creating goals for ourselves & so I found myself with a new goal last month.
  
I wanted to change my routine up & try something new in my exercise routine. 

When I started the 7 day fitness program I loved how my body felt using the dumbbells I actually enjoyed the exercises & (I FOUND A NEW HOBBY)

How Brooke introduced the 7 day fitness challenge into her routine

Week 1: I decided that I would wake up 30 minutes earlier and make this a rule that I would complete it before my morning routine, it was a simple way to get the exercise done, and then by the end of the day, I knew it was completed. 

The days are very simple to follow and took me under 30minutes to complete I had started with just 1kg hand weights I bought from Kmart to get me started, and when I had completed day 6 of the program I discovered just how much I really enjoyed using dumbbell weights in my exercise routine and it then became my favourite NEW hobby.

It was the first exercise I have actually really found a PASSION of love for, not to mention it was so easy to fit this into my routine. 


Week 2: I increased the reps & the exercises by adding in one extra round per week.

Before I knew it, I really was improving as time went on and by then week 2 had finished.

I couldn't believe how fast the time had actually gone, and I had looked forward to the 7th day, which was my rest day of a walk & stretch. I felt like I had accomplished something that was exciting.


Week 3: I had noticed on day 3 the 1kg weights didn't really challenge me as week one & 2 and I was able to increase my dumbbell weights up to 2kg dumbbells per arm & I realised my body was getting stronger. This was such a great feeling of feeling stronger.

Week 4: I was a little hit and miss during this week, I found myself time short & so my work outs were in the afternoon, evening or I had a few catch up days but, I still completed my exercises & those days in that 7 day time frame and I could feel my strength improving & this is when I decided that I would sign up for gym so I can then work on my dumbell training and start using weights as I generally found a NEW HOBBY. 

The overall experience is I tried something new & I found something I really enjoyed. 

At the end of week 4: 
I had lost a total of 11cm from my body & I had gone down from size 18 to a size 16.  Well done Brooke! 

The most surprising thing to myself, was throughout my whole weightloss journey my bust & belly area were always the exact same measurements.

Then, to my surprise, when I started the 7 day fitness program for the first time ever the results were the opposite & my belly was smaller than my bust.

HERE ARE MY RESULTS:
My starting Measurements were: 
Bust: 116cm
Belly:116cm 

4 Weeks Later My Results Were: 
Bust 112cm = 4cm loss from my bust area
Belly 109cm =7cm loss from my stomach area

HERE are Brooke's tips to get you started



1. Determine your best time you will show up and schedule it on your phone to make it a priority as this will really help you to create a new habit that falls naturally into your routine. (Set Alarms) and remind yourself.

2. Increase the reps by an extra few or add in an extra round of that exercise each week. I decided to do both because I generally enjoyed it.

3. Follow a good healthy meal plan, I follow the Zing Wellbeing program and customise my meal plans each week to ensure my protein goals are reached I love the recipes and they are simple to make and so tasty. (I aim for  having 100 to 120gms of protein per day as a guide) suggested by my doctor.


Zing Wellbeing Protein and wellness powders are a great way to increase your protein, and are my daily go to. I personally love the protein powder as I bake with it, use it in my yoghurt, and hot chocolates when I need that extra protein.

4. BE ok that NOT every day will be the same. Life happens, it doesn't matter on the time you get the exercise done, continue and be consistent, if you miss out on a day simply catch up and keep going don't GIVE up. Just turn up.

5. Take your measurements before and four weeks later and check the results for yourself. Be sure to do your photos too.

My journey with Zing Wellbeing has been amazing. I have achieved a lot of personal growth, I am living the healthiest version of myself & over all this program offers so much support.
