Slow Cooker Beef & Broccoli

Serve: 4

Ingredients

  • 500g beef steaks, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 ½ tbsp garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 150 ml chicken stock 
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 heaped tbsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 head of broccoli 

Method

1. Place all the ingredients except broccoli and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours. 

2. Add in the broccoli and allow to cook for a further 30 mins.

3. Add chilli slices if desired and serve with steamed rice.
