Shepherd's pie

There is nothing better on a cold chilly night than a big bowl of soul warming Shepherd's pie and we love finding a healthy shepherd's pie recipe.
And a fabulous member of our Zing Wellbeing community, Kerryanne, has shared with us her go to shepherd's pie recipe and we think you are really going to enjoy this one!
Shepherd's pie
Seves 4 - 6
Ingredients:
- 3-4 medium Potatoes
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1tbs Butter
- 2-3 cups mixed veg (can be frozen or fresh)
- 500g mince beef
- 2 cups gravox traditional gravy
- 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup Cheese
- Veg stock or water optional
Method:
I boil my potatoes and mash with milk and butter.
Cook vegetables in the microwave while browning off the mince.
Make your gravy mix ready to add then pop the vegetables into the mince.
Stir the gravy through and add Worcestershire Sauce.
Optional add stock or water to get desired thickness of mixture.
Place mixture into individual dishes or one large. Top with potato and add cheese.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until cheese is brown.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to serve. Sometimes I put extra Worcestershire Sauce on top too.
