Honey chicken wing recipe

And this recipe is for honey ginger chicken wings and is a great source of protein, also contributing to the B vitamin content, and broccoli provides a significant amount of Vitamin C and Vitamin K.

Honey Ginger Chicken Wing Recipe
Serves 3
Ingredients
- 450g chicken wings
- salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp ginger
- ½ tsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- Preheat the oven to 220ºC and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Season the wings lightly with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, mix together the soy sauce, 3/4 of the water, chilli flakes, honey, and ginger in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes or until reduced by half.
- Mix the corn flour with the remaining water to make a slurry and add it to the sauce. Simmer for one more minute to thicken and remove from heat.
- Toss the cooked chicken wings with sauce. Top with sesame seeds and spring onions.
