Jac shares how Zing Wellbeing saved her life

Jac has been a member of Zing Wellbeing since the beginning and saw phenomenal results in the first six months. Then unfortunately, due to some life-changing events Jac had to reassess her health goals.

Jac shares how Zing Wellbeing saved her life

Jac shares, "I was a prediabetic for many years due to PCOS and since having a radical hysterectomy in 2023 due to cancer my numbers elevated a bit, in March this year (2025) sadly, a family member was killed just days before my dads one one-year anniversary of his passing.

The shock my body and mind went into was enough to trigger the diabetes and I got very sick.

This was a new challenge I had to get through, and it sent me spiralling back to square one.

I gained some weight back, my mental health struggled and life got hard again trying to manage it.

I lost my drive and motivation, I couldn’t exercise even though I needed to due to a back injury, and I was exhausted and sad, embarrassed that I was back in this position.

After a big wake-up call I’ve worked hard the past 6 months to turn that around, determined to see results and find joy in life again.

It was slow and difficult as I had lost my mojo, but it was working.

I started taking my medication for diabetes properly, and I started doing menopause workouts from the Zing Wellbeing app, which I absolutely love!!

I started seeing a physio for my back and I’m starting to dance again, woohoo!!

During the Nov Summer Countdown 8 week challenge, I lost 11cm all over and am happy to report that despite feeling fatigued my zest for life is coming back, and I’m excited to be back on this journey with you all.

Life will always have its ups and downs but as long you can always find your way back you’ll be fine. The Zing Wellbeing program and the community will always have my heart, it truly saved my life.

Zing Wellbeing has been a game changer for me.

The pic above on the left, I was utterly broken, I had only recently been discharged from oncology after having cancer, I'd had two surgeries and had unmanaged surgical menopause, my dad had not long passed away, he had stage four cancer and passed from sepsis.

I was triggered badly by his death and the grief was almost too much to handle.

My daughter was unwell and suffers severe anxiety too.

I was at rock bottom and had no idea what to do with myself anymore, my anxiety and depression were escalated beyond belief, I was so overweight I could barely put my own shoes on, I was breathless, uncomfortable and very lost.

I came across Zing Wellbeing in July last year and after having a quick browse I decided this was going to be my saving grace.

Fast forward to now, my anxiety levels are great, they are manageable and I know what to do if it pops up, I can move my body so much more freely, I dance almost everyday simply because I can and I love it!

I have gained so much mental strength, confidence and a zest for life.

In October last year I took my daughter to Sydney, alone, just us, for her first K-pop concert at a packed out stadium.

Wow, we survived and had the best time of our lives. I have absolutely transformed my world, I nourish my body better, I move my body daily, I practice self care regularly, I now live by the rule of no fear, I tell my daughter everyday we can't be scared anymore, we have plans to travel overseas, I have a fabulous job and this is all thanks to Rhian and the zing community.

You can absolutely change your life and your world you just need to take the first step. Please take that first step and join us, you'll never know what could be until you do.

As I reflect on the past two years I see so much growth. The first year was complete devastation.

- I lost my dad not long after recovering,
- I was grieving
- I had severe anxiety
- I had overall poor health, I struggled to get my own shoes on.
- I was always breathless and uncomfortable
- I had a child newly diagnosed with a chronic illness.
- I could barely leave the house, the couch was my comfort place and id be happiest with my comfort food.
- I was at rock bottom.

The second year when I found Zing, was life-changing. Thanks to the support of the Zing coaches and community

🎉 I learnt how to manage my binge eating
🎉I learnt how to manage my anxiety
🎉I learnt how to eat better and fuel my body.

🎉I was educated on how to look after my body better eg why women need more protein, why gut health is so important.

🎉I found my love for exercise again
🎉I love to dance
🎉I gained so much confidence that I not only leave the house now, I socialise, I travel, I go to concerts, I enjoy holidaying.

For the first time in my life I'm planning an overseas holiday. Something I never thought I'd do.

If cancer has taught me one thing it's to live your life, the best way you can, I don't just sit on the sidelines anymore, I join in Zing wellbeing has opened up a whole new world for me and I'm so excited for the future.
