Beck has reminded us all that we aren't alone in dealing with our feelings and emotions and she wants to support all women to improve their health and wellbeing as best she can.
Dealing with anxiety
Beck shares, "Happy Monday! I’m just back from my morning walk and I wanted to share and chat about something that's close to my heart, anxiety.
It came up in our session on mindset last night, and it's been a journey of ups and downs for me.
I’ve been feeling really amazing for many years until pre-menopause unexpectedly brought it to the forefront this year.
One of the primary challenges many women face with anxiety is the struggle to manage overwhelming fears and worries. It's like navigating a storm of anxious thoughts, where each wave feels more intense and relentless.
This can be particularly impactful during phases like pre-menopause, where hormonal shifts can amplify these feelings.
I wanted to share what's been helping me cope, grounding myself in the present moment has been incredibly important.
Whether through mindful thoughts, intentional actions, or spiritual practices, staying rooted has been my lifeline. It's amazing how just being aware of my surroundings and focusing on what's happening right now can bring such peace.
Movement has also been crucial for me. Engaging in physical activities, especially amidst nature, brings me clarity and serenity.
Grounding techniques
Embracing grounding practices, like walking barefoot on the earth or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach, offers a profound sense of connection and calm. Feeling the ground beneath bare feet can be incredibly soothing amidst the turbulence of anxious thoughts.
Practising gratitude has been transformative. It shifts my perspective and helps me find beauty even in challenging times.
Recently, I've delved into ancient practices like Crystal Singing Bowl Intuitive Training, which has now become a cherished ritual in our home.
The power of sound and intention has truly helped restore balance and harmony in my life.
And meditation, oh, meditation. It was intimidating at first, but now it's slowly becoming my anchor. On the days I commit to it, I feel clearer, calmer, and more equipped to tackle whatever comes my way.
Navigating anxiety isn't easy, but these practices have given me stability and a renewed sense of well-being. It's been a beautiful journey of healing and growth, and I'm grateful for every step.
Let's continue to share and support each other on this path toward inner peace and resilience. Together, we can inspire and empower each other to embrace each day with mindfulness and courage.
