A day on the plate with Rhian and her 12 month health transformation

Today Rhian is sharing her day on a plate this week and her health transformation from following the Zing Wellbeing program

Rhian says, "Same jeans. Same person. But health improved 100000% over 12 months.

The Zing Wellbeing program and approach has completely changed every aspect of my health and I am so grateful for the knowledge I have gained and how my mindset to my health has changed so drastically.

  • I have never felt healthier or stronger and more incontrol of my own longevity, fitness, energy, health and strength
  • I have gone from being stressed to happy
  • I have gone from terrible sleep to great sleep
  • I have gone from not knowing anything about gut health to being all over gut health 
  • I have gone from counting calories to focusing on protein, gut health and nutrition
  • I have gone from eating mindlessly to eating with a goal as food as nutrition
  • I have gone from eating all throughout the day and always feeling hungry to not eating after 7pm and having a nightly mini fast which has reset and boosted my metabolism and stopped the constant hunger
  • I have gone from thinking of exercise as only cardio to now having a big focus on weights and building lean muscle
  • I have gone from daily menopause symptoms to no symptoms
  • I have gone from focusing on weight to focusing on health
  • I have gone from focusing on the number of scales to how I feel - both physically and mentally

I have learned so much and this holistic approach has 100% worked for my body and mind and I am so happy that as well as this approach working for me it is also working for so many other women

A day on Rhian's plate

I always do a mini fast from 7pm to around 9am as I have found this really works for my body

I also have a big focus on food as medicine and this is a huge mindset shift that I have had and I always try and choose foods that are going to nourish my body.

I also focus on reaching 100g of protein a day which I found to be amazing for my health, skin and muscles - it also keeps me feeling full

Breakfast

For breakfast I will either have a Wellness Smoothie or a breakfast from the Zing Wellbeing program and I love the tortilla quiche or the chia pudding or overnight oats.

Snacks

I always have a Zing protein and gut health shot every day. It has been an absolute game changer for my health, energy and wellbeing.

I often had other snacks too and they always have a high protein angle - such as nuts, yoghurt and berries, cottage cheese and pineapple and will often meal prep some sweet treats too for when I need a treat!

Lunch

Lunch for me is usually something I have meal prepped or something quick and easy and some of my favourites are the salmon and lettuce wraps, frittata, cottage cheese pizza, Greek chicken salad or a power bowl

Dinner

I LOVE dinner time - it is when the family all come together and I see it as an opportunity to have healthy home made food that fuels my kids and teaches them how important food is.

Some of my favourite ones and also my family's favourite meals from the Zing Wellbeing program are Greek turkey meatballs, lamb tortillas, smashed tacos, gut friendly spaghetti bolognaise, low carb shepherd's pie, san choy bow, taco lasagne, butter chicken and ginger chicken stirfry.

And the great thing is that we have new recipes coming out all the time so I love trying out new recipes all of the time!
