Shelley suffers with lots of food intolerances and shares "I am not scared to eat anymore!"

Shelley has been following Zing Wellbeing for over 4 months and is so happy she took the leap to join and improve her gut health!

I eat quite clean, and I am all for food is medicine, but I have suffered for a long time with gut inflammation, bloating due to food intolerances.

Shelley shares, "When Zing Wellbeing first started, I was watching from afar.

During December, I was actually looking at other programs out there as I was kind of lost in my health and fitness.

I wasn't improving and I was staying the same, I almost signed up with another fitness program (but I found out the program I was doing was about to start a 4 week intense course) so I changed my mine and I relooked at Zing Wellbeing and saw the 8 week trial, I decided to finally take the plunge in Dec 2024 and joined up for a 8 week trial, not knowing what I was going to expect. I didn’t have anything to lose.

I have suffered from food allergies and intolerances for over 10 years.

I have had to be strict in everything to protect myself from any sort of flare-up, but I would still react, I could never eat out, and I would always miss out, and I felt that became my way of life.

The inflammation and bloating was so painful and so exhausting on my body.

I always struggled when eating out, not knowing if I would have a reaction. My choices were becoming very limited, so I got used to eating before I went anywhere, and taking my own food.

I thought I was doing ok, but I still struggled with food triggers, inflammation, and bloating - even after having an intolerance test.

When I got access to the Zing Wellbeing Program, I screen all the recipes to pick which ones that I could have and about 80% I could, I was super excited.

But I was also excited to try the Zing Wellbeing Immune Booster Shot, I had seen and heard about it from what Rhian Allen posted and couldn’t wait to try.

At first I wasn’t sure as my taste buds hadn’t gotten accustomed, but by day 2 I was hooked and by day 3, I started noticing changes in how I felt. I was feeling lighter, energy was so good. I was in all the way. 

I explored a lot of the Zing Wellbeing recipes and there are so so many, but I found sticking to High Protein, anti bloat and anti gut inflammation meals seemed to work for me. 

By the first week and before the Jan 6 week Health challenge started I could start to see results from my strength training. 


I did my first body scan at the start for the Jan 6 week challenge and was really surprised, and each week my results got better and better and what was better was my bloating and inflammation, and also I was eating food I would normally react to, this is what really surprised me.

I have done a lot of programs in the past and have always had reactions, I would be strict in what I ate and still reacted. 

I fully went all Zing Wellbeing recipes from the start, I have loved how quick and super easy they are, no more spending hrs in the kitchen prepping meals, especially dinners.

I prepare my breakfast for the week,  this can take anywhere from 30mins to an hr and I make a couple of snacks every couple of weeks and keep in the freezer as they seem to last that long.

I found with recipes that have similar ingredients such as the chia puddings and overnight berry oats ( finally I have now found my favourite) make time less preparing, and with the dinners taking next to no time to make I now cook them on the night I’m going to enjoy - plus I have left over for my freezer stash - and this is another thing I have found why I don’t need to cook dinners as much. Winning!

I was a little hesitant with the protein powders - but when I looked at the ingredients and saw there was hardly any I was starting to feel a little joy and happiness.

The Protein powders are divine, I have the vanilla one with my Zing immune booster shot in the morning, I add the chocolate powder to my coconut yoghurt to get a smooth, creamy silk like texture - almost like chocolate mousse. They are so versatile.

There is always a NEW recipe that is showcased and I may not have tried it yet, this gets me excited, I have now been introduced to new ingredients, flavour combinations that I thought I would never get to explore. 

Zing Wellbeing has changed my whole aspect on food. I now have an appreciation for it again and not scared to eat, I have finally found a program that is working for me along side my fitness and exercise goals.
