Mediterranean Breakfast Smoothie

 

This smoothie offers ingredients key for heart health, immune system wellbeing and sustained energy. Almond milk is low in calories, rich in vitamin E for skin health, and a great dairy-free alternative. Greek yoghurt is high in protein and probiotics, supporting muscle health and gut balance. Figs provide natural sweetness, fibre and assist with digestive health. Cucumber is hydrating and rich in antioxidants. Chia seeds are packed with nutrients providing omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein. Cinnamon helps to stabilise blood sugar levels. Baby spinach is packed with vitamins A, C, and K and iron, promoting immune support and bone health.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 organic dried figs
  • 1/2 small cucumber
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • Ice cubes

 Place all ingredients in a blender and mix.
